CGD Football season stats show Jergenson, Nelson and Lindaman on top

      This year’s Cowboy football team finished 1-8 overall, with Shane Conlon leading in passing at 33 of 93 for 377 total yards. He threw three touchdowns and six interceptions for a final QB rating of 67.3. Christian Gaytan was five of 12 for 113 yards and two TD passes for a final rating of 175.8.  Ethan Traub was four of six for 60 yards with two TD’s and a 260.7 final rating, while Kain Nelson was two of seven for 33 yards.

      Rushing numbers show Trenton Jergenson with 109 attempts for 405 total yards and two TD’s. Nevan Foss made 58 carries for 216 yards with one touchdown. Rafael Jimenez gained 191 yards on 62 attempts. Nelson had 19 carries for 140 yards and the best average at 7.4-yards per attempt. Cole Lindaman had 25 carries for 124 yards. Gaytan gained 89 yards on 23 attempts and Mateo Martinez 59 yards on 28 carries. Five others had five yards or less.

      In receiving, it was Martinez with 19 catches for 324 total yards (17.1-yard average) and five TD’s. Lindaman had nine catches for 107 yards (11.9-yard average) and one TD. Foss grabbed two passes for 60 yards (30.0-yard average) and one TD. Bryce Allen caught five for 51 yards, Jimenez three for 21 yards and Jergenson two for eight yards. Four others caught one pass for five yards or less.

      The top five in total offense, rushing & receiving, are: Jergenson with 413 total yards, Martinez with 383 yards, Foss with 276 yards, Lindaman with 231 yards and Jimenez with 212 yards. The top five in total offense, rushing & passing, are: Jergenson with 405 total yards, Conlon with 308 yards, Foss with 216 yards, Gaytan with 202 yards and Jimenez with 191 yards.
