CGD 8th Grade Goes To Work

Clarion-Goldfield-Dows 8th graders got a taste of adult life on Thursday as the students scattered across the area for job shadowing opportunities.

     "They had a variety of different places," said Principal Steve Haberman. "Businesses all throughout the community and communities around us as well."

     Some students stuck around Clarion to see what daily life was like at a Main Street business like Fuel or an industrial job at Hagie Manufacturing. Other students went as far as Fort Dodge or Mason City, performing physicals at Mercy Hospital.
