Building's facade updated at Evans Furniture

Driving past Evans Furniture, you may need to look twice.

 

That's because some major updates were made to the outside of the building this year.

 

The project, which included completing some tuckpointing, installing stacked stone, and painting, is almost complete.

 

The finishing touches, adding two new stainless signs to replace the old ones, will be done when it gets a little warmer outside.

 

"These signs are individual letters in a new font [different than] our old logo," said Jayne Pate, who owns Evans along with her brother Skip Chytry. "We think this will also add to our updated look."
