AD Tech celebrates 5 years in business

July 20 was the official anniversary for local business AD Tech Solutions, run by Andrew and Sarah Dencklau. On August 25, they held an open house to celebrate their five years of operation at their Main Street location.

“I’d never run my own business before,” Andrew said. Dencklau grew up in Clarion, then worked at the world headquarters for the Jehovah’s Witnesses in New York for 13 years before moving back to be near his parents. Wanting to take his interest in computers to the next level, he got some on-the-job training and tech certification to get started in computer repair. “It’s been a big learning curve,” he said, adding that he took a lot of advice when he got started.

He knew that Clarion didn’t have any sort of computer business, and when he got started, he found there really was a need. “The day I opened I got a call, and I don’t think I’ve ever not had work since,” he said.
