8th boys had high expectations and worked had to achieve them

The 2017-18 8th grade boys basketball team finished a very successful season with a couple of wins against a newly acquired team from South Hamilton. That brought the season record for the ‘A’ team to 9-1, and the ‘B’ team to 8-2. The boys came into the season with high expectations due to their work and success at the rec-league level. They had won numerous tournaments along the way, and wanted to keep that tradition going. They continued to practice very hard and learn as much as they could while showing what a ‘team’ means to them. Contributions for that success came from all those involved, whether it was in practice or in games. These guys get it. They understand that they can’t reach their high goals they set for themselves without each other working hard and contributing daily.
