7th grade boys team goes undefeated

The Cowboy 7th grade basketball team, coached by Jason Berning, completed their season with the coach filing this report. “This year’s team was made up of 20 kids, which is one of the largest groups we have had for a middle school team,” said Berning. “It was a very successful season, with the ‘A’ team finishing 10-0. They also competed in, and won, a tournament at Roland-Story in December. The ‘B’ team finished at 6-4. This group was less experienced, and showed tremendous improvement all season long which helped them achieve a winning record.”
