6th Grade Visits Heartland Museum

The CGD 6th Graders took a trip to the past last Thursday when they spent the afternoon at Clarion's Heartland Museum.

     "It was fun," said 6th grader Brenndan Hennigar.

     The middle school students spent the day learning about local history by participating in a scavenger hunt throughout the museum. Each student was tasked with finding historical items within the museum and taking a selfie with them using their iPads.

     "It was really fun," said 6th grader Sophie Dietz. "We learned about Alvina [Sellers] and her hats."
