2 new teachers excited to start at C-G-D's elementary school

This fall, there are two new young, enthusiastic faces in the halls of Clarion-Goldfield-Dows elementary, in addition to the dozens of children of course.

Anna Zeller will be teaching Prep Kindergarten and 3-year old preschool. Zeller, originally from Algona, just graduated in May from UNI with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.  Ms. Zellers said she always knew that she wanted to work with younger kids. She is excited to see her students “grow academically but also to make positive social, emotional, and behavioral growth.”

A little further down the hall, Brookelyn Christians works in her first grade classroom. Christians, originally from the Britt area, has two years of teaching experience under her belt. She spent a couple of years in Ida Grove at the OABCIG school district teaching kindergarten and second grade.
