150th Festival Parade Committee Looking for Entries

Got an idea for a family float, an organizational entry or a business salute, the committee is looking for you to sign up.  The celebration will take place Saturday, June 13 at 10:00 a.m.

“Because this is our 150th year, we want this parade to be super special”, says Jerry Holmes co-chair with daughter Kelli Homes, of the parade committee. “We encourage towns to have an entry and bands of any size to come as well. Our theme this year is ‘Coming Home’ and many former residents will indeed be doing that.

Kelli sums it all up like this: Who: Any organization, business, or individual who would like to enter a float/display in the “We are looking for any type of entry Sesquicentennial parade,” says Kelli. “The more, the more fun!”

When: All entries need to be submitted by June 1.
